As we all know, the "Thinking Green" movement is already taking off globally at velcoity speeds for all areas, including Technology. Now is a great time to think about some of the small ways we can all contribute to save resources in 08'.
Personally, I am having a hard time getting started beyond the obvious when it comes to business & technology. The number one thing we are going to do in 08' is to shut down our equipment at night. In most cases, this will not impact your business (check first if unsure) technology but will cost you a few more minutes in starting (rebooting) and shutting down. Your equipment DOES use power whether in use or not plus that added advantage is protection against power spikes when the power goes out & then on again.
I need some help with other ideas. I have started a discussion called "Getting Started "Thinking Green" and would greatly apprecaite hearing your business technology "Green Thinking" ideas.
