Is Green The New Red?

Is going Green a fad? Or is it something bigger. Bigger than us? Ever since I wrote about a franchise out of California {Big surprise there} that is franchising it's solar energy business, I have been receiving emails from folks that want to know more about it. And..this is really telling, my posts about solar energy franchises are still the most read about on this blog. Now, the US Government...

Is starting to really take this green thing seriously. As a matter of fact, the Business.gov website, a great resource for small business start-ups, has decided to produce an entire section on starting your own Green business. The section starts out like this:

Start an Eco-Friendly Business

Resources for start ups and entrepreneurs

Having a section like this shows me that this Green thing is certainly not being looked at as a fad, by the government. This section also shows some case studies of specific green businesses, including some well known ones like Ben and Jerry's {A franchise!}, to all of us.
