Are Franchise Owners Considered Entrepreneurs? Should They Be?

The answer is yes. And no. The true entrepreneur in the franchise business model is the person that "invented" the franchise concept. While some things that franchisees must do are entrepreneurial, it is mostly about the franchisee following the franchisors system.

This topic has been debated before, and I'm sure, will continue to be debated.
