Just one more thing seems manageable. Just one more thing can put you on overload. You fit it in and push yourself to get it done. Other projects go unfinished, trying to get it all done.
PUSH...Push...Push! Richard Flint comments on pushing yourself will make you think about what you are doing to YOU! Pushing yourself is just another way of adding stress to your life. Why do most people push themselves? For some it is about playing catch-up from what they didn't get done yesterday. For others is it about trying to prove they can be all things to all people. To others it is about not being able to say "no" and getting themselves overwhelmed. It doesn't matter what the reason is, every time you push yourself, you take your life out of sync, add more confusion to your journey and just increase the level of stress in your life. None of these are healthy; they just wear you down and make you feel you have to do more. Not a healthy way to live.
Remember, if you can't manage your pace, you can't control your life.
