Many have being asking this question. While most all accept the notion that we are in a global market place, and to play, we must think and act globally, trying to understand what the impact of international competition for small biz has been somewhat challenging to understand as it relates to his or her business development.
A new study from the Small Business Administration's Office of Advocacy outlines somes of the issues and answers to this question. According to this report, not surprisingly, shows that the changes in exchange rate affect the smallest of manufacturers - companies with fewer than twenty employees, but have minimal impact on larger manufacturers. Hig-tech firms in manufacturing had less impact.
