Roxanne Kaufman

Roxanne M. Kaufman, President/Coach, ProLaureate has a that career spans over 25 years of local, national and international experience within manufacturing, commercial, business to business, industrial, professional, entrepreneurial and non-profit organizations. Her expertise encompasses consulting, coaching and executive leadership positions in corporate and personal/professional development, strategic business development, marketing communications and sales. Roxanne works with multi-billion dollar international corporations as well as small to medium sized businesses, individuals, start-ups and small entrepreneurial for profit and not-for-profit organizations.

Roxanne spent the early part of her career in the management, operation, administration and marketing of non-profit performing arts centers. She concurrently worked with several multi-state arts agencies as a grant writer and counselor/advisor to a wide variety of performing artists and arts organizations in the development of strategy, business planning and marketing communications.

She spent several years with an international corporate training firm as a development coach and corporate presentation/communications/sales trainer, before accepting an opportunity to serve in an executive strategic marketing communications and business development role with one of the world's largest specialty chemical companies. After 12 years with this company, Roxanne founded her own firm, ProLaureate, and currently works with a variety of local, national and global organizations in strategic planning, presentation skills, sales and business development, leadership and personal/professional coaching.

Roxanne's unique approach to her work is rooted in the belief that knowledge by itself is not power; rather, applied knowledge is power. She is dedicated to helping individuals and companies achieve excellence and reach new levels of success through the application of existing and new knowledge, skills and attitudes. Her work blends creative and analytical thinking, business acumen, insight, vision and common sense with proven methodologies, processes, programs and business practices. The result is an evolution of process that drives results, strategies, growth, value and profitability of the corporation, and the individual, to create and build prosperous lives and successful businesses.

Roxanne is an award winning business and marketing communications strategist; a certified facilitator; and a business and professional development coach. She is an independent affiliate of the international development firm, Resource Associates Corporation; a free-lance writer; and an advocate of personal and professional development and achievement. In addition to her coaching and strategic development work, she has served as a business coach in Case Western Reserve University's Entrepreneurial program within the Weatherhead School of Management; as a strategic/marketing consultant to Cuyahoga Community College's Corporate College, and volunteers with local non-profit organizations as a business coach, facilitator and advisor. She is the Chairperson of the 2007 COSE Small Business Conference and conducts seminars, workshops and speaking engagements on strategic development, sales, leadership, presentation skills, and personal signature.

Roxanne has earned multiple degrees from Sinclair College and Bowling Green State University; numerous certifications from the American Marketing Association and The University of Wisconsin at Madison in Business, Marketing and Strategic Excellence. She is founder of The Consortium, an elite forum of senior level business advisors; a Board Member of the West Shore Entrepreneur's Club (a chapter of The Entrepreneur's Club of America); a member of the Executive Women's Forum; COSE; and other local and national professional development, marketing and business organizations.
