Lori K. Long is the President of LK Consulting, LLC, a human resource management (HRM) consulting firm specializing in start-up and small businesses. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Kent State University, a Master of Labor Relations and Human Resources from Cleveland State University, and has more than fourteen years of HRM experience. Lori is a Past President of the Cleveland Society for Human Resource Management and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources. Lori's research interests include effective work/life management strategies, the policy implications of federal employment laws and regulations, and the use of technology in HRM. Lori has published several articles and presented numerous conference workshops on these and other HRM topics. Lori is also an adjunct faculty member at Baldwin-Wallace College and the author of the upcoming book The Parent's Guide to Family Friendly Work (Career Press, 2007).
