Eric's work as a business coach, keynote speaker, television and radio guest, and executive mentor has created tremendous interest in applying the Six Disciplines Methodology for top performing organizations that passionately want to be excellent. The basis for Eric's coaching comes from the top-selling book: "Six Disciplines for Excellence: Building Small Businesses That Learn, Lead and Last," which offers specific details on the methodology of how the best performing organizations can achieve lasting business excellence.
Kurjan earned his bachelor of arts degree from Miami University of Oxford, Ohio, in 1982 and is a graduate of the 1996-1997 Findlay Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class. He was named the 1998 Outstanding Technical Support Professional of the Year by the Association of Support Professionals. Kurjan currently serves on the board of trustees of the University of Findlay, Blanchard Valley Hospital Association, The Hancock County United Way, Friends Business Solutions, and Plumbline Solutions, Inc. He is the 2008 Hancock County United Way Board Chairman and has also served as the 2006 Campaign Chairman. He has also demonstrated his leadership and team-building abilities as a past member of the Findlay- Hancock County Arts Partnership, Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, as well campaign chairman of the Hancock County Community Recreation Center Committee. Kurjan and his wife, Lisa, and their two daughters, Madeline (17) and Anna (15), live in Findlay, Ohio.
