Well, HTML is a client side/presentation language and .NET is a server side/application language.

Typically for the incorporation of video, flash is one of the best options and there are even many simple players out there you can put on your site.

You do have to understand some of the techniques behind formatting a video for flash and associating it to the player you setup, which is not always easy.

If you are speaking about a video server, flash also offers several good options for those needs.

Maybe you can clarify your question for me?

You may want to think about IPTV. Basically an you own private internet television channel where you control the content and who views that content. This is a revenue stream that will pay not only for the TV channel but has no infrstructure costs associated. All you pay for is the license and the band witdth you use.

We are resellars of this solution for web TV with the infrstruture being in the UK. The largest IPTV in Europe. Just now hitting the States. This more than Youtube, a privite network you control
