Working ON my business
I'm busy working IN my business and often find it difficult to find time to work ON my business. Any advice or ideas, please.

It is often hard to find time to work ON your business each day, or month. And working as an entrepreneur can be an isolating experience. One way to really focus on your goals and strategize about your business is to be part of an informal network of peer advisors. This can be an effective way of networking and expanding your business. Setting goals in a group context with trusted peers often brings a higher level of accountability, an important motivator to reaching your target(s). Plus, you get a wide perspective of ideas and feedback from other industries within your group. You can now have a support network that will be the cheerleaders for your business.

Check out the other articles within the peer advisory section or go to www.cosemindshare.org to learn more about joining a peer advisory group.

Although it's been around for a long time and most of us have read it, I suggest another read of the E Myth. The latest issue is, The E Myth Revisited. It gives new understanding of the word 'franchise' and gives great perspective into working ON the business.
