Great question and concern. No, you are placed in a group with a competitor or a member that you do not want to be with. Member selection is crucial to the success of your MindShare group because each individual’s dedication and quality of participation will set the foundation for the group’s success. That’s why all potential MindShare members take an in-depth self-assessment to determine their benefit to the group and their level of commitment to the program. Then members are matched with a group of five to eight others based on several criteria, including:
Values and goals; willingness to give and share
Similar level of business experience
Balance between commonality and uniqueness; aligned for a common purpose
Company size
Industry (You will not be matched with a company in your industry, but rather with someone who shares a common type of work environment.)
Purpose (MindShare groups can serve many purposes, ranging from being a support group to lead-sharing or a variety of different elements.)
