Management by objective, where did that go?
What happened to management by objective? I thought that was a good system.

Many organizations still use MBO as a part of their performance appraisal system. However, the term “Management By Objectives” may not always be used. The underlying idea of MBO is to set goals and measure if employees achieve them. This can be useful both in motivating employees and measuring performance. Goal setting is still a common practice for many organizations.
