Join the Home Based Business Network
I have been home-based for six of my 22 years in business and before that I had an office on Chagrin Boulevard in Beachwood, which, at the time was considered a suitable location for a public relations firm. My how things have changed. Today COSE has some 4,000 members who are home-based businesses, and a home office is considered cleverly cost-effective and quite efficient.
Working from home has been quite a transition for me. I struggle with a feeling of isolation sometimes, and I miss being able to walk down the hall and ask an opinion or talk over a business issue with someone in the next office. However, I do like the convenience of being close to my work and more available to my clients.
I didn't know a Home-based Business Network would help resolve some of my issues, but COSE knew.
Through the Home -based Business Network, I have found a way of connecting with other business owners who are in similar situations. I have discovered a contingent of maverick entrepreneurs who are working in offices that once were spare bedrooms, basements, dining rooms and perhaps even garages, and when we need a break from the distractions, interruptions and feel the need for fresh ideas, we can connect with our Network through educational programs and social events.
I hope you will join us in what has already proven to be an exciting year for the Home-based Business Network. We have an exciting calendar planned and we hope to see you at one of our events very soon.
