We are continuing to see mass layoffs into 2009.  Not only do these layoffs have a detrimental effect to the displaced worker, but the employer can also suffer negative consequences when terminating employees.

Outplacement services provide assistance to companies during the difficult time of staff reduction.  Whether it is a performance based termination or a mass layoff, an outplacement firm can help planning and executing the transition and then provide resources and guidance to displaced workers.
