Laura Pettit Rusick, founder of OPT Solutions, Inc., has 10 years of experience in CIO level roles, with responsibility for all facets of information technology (IT).  She has spent more than 20 years working in and with business units to optimize business process efficiency and utilize technology to automate those processes.

Laura founded OPT Solutions, Inc. to make strategic technology management available to small to mid-sized businesses without requiring a commitment to the cost of a full-time CIO or business process expert.  Laura combines her 10 years of IT management experience with her business management expertise to help her clients streamline their business processes, align IT with business strategy and increase internal and external customer satisfaction with technology.

Professional

Ms. Rusick holds a Master of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead School, and a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Cleveland State University.  She is an active board member of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Society for Information Management, and a member of the Northeast Ohio Software Association.  Ms. Rusick is a certified Project Management Professional.

Prior to founding OPT Solutions, Inc., Ms. Rusick was the VP of Information Technology at Franklin & Seidelmann Radiology, a nationwide teleradiology company.  She has also managed the IT departments at Family Heritage Life Insurance as Director of IT and Cole Managed Vision (now Luxottica) as Senior Manager of IT.  She was a Senior Consultant at Deloitte & Touche Management Consulting where she worked on an ERP project and a call center centralization project for a large managed health care organization.  She began her career as a Service Consultant for Progressive Insurance.

Laura helps small and mid-sized businesses enable growth, reduce costs and improve efficiency by optimizing business processes and technology.
