Bluffstone Public Relations was established in 1986 by Jeanne Bluffstone, a former reporter and Plain Dealer columnist who wanted to utilize her experience and media contacts to garner attention for closely-held companies.
Through her efforts, clients have been highlighted in publications such as Fortune Small Business, Forbes, Inside Business, SBN. The Plain Dealer, Crain's Cleveland Business and of course the COSE Update. They have been interviewed on radio and television and through her nominatins, they have received numerous awards.
Jeanne also instructs small business owners on how to promote themselves through the media, and leads workshops on public relations and marketing for trade groups and busijness organizations. She has been a speaker for business start-up seminars and taught courses on How to Work with the Media.
In 2001 Jeanne was named one of the Top 10 Women Business Owners of Northeast Ohio by NAWBO (the National Association of Women Business Owners). Later that year she also received NAWBO's Networking Award for her success in promoting the organization.
Jeanne is a past Vice President of Public Affairs and board member of NAWBO, a former COSE board member, and chairs COSE's Home Based Business Network Advisory Council.
